Mother Dairy Witness Loss of Second MD in Two Years

New Delhi, May 05, 2019: A wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board, witnessed a series of high level resignations in past.
Recently, Sanjeev Khanna, MD of Mother Dairy fruit and vegetable has resigned from the post becoming the second MD to leave the company in two years. Khanna who earlier worked at Noida based Dairy major had replaced S. Nagarajan at Mother Dairy who left the company abruptly in June 2017 according to the reports published in krishijagran.com.
As per the details from Mother Dairy Fruits and vegetables spokesperson, Khanna resigned on February 1, 2019 citing health issues and “the same will be considered in the next board meeting of the company.
After departure of Nagarajan, Mother Dairy has lost several top executives including its head of dairy business, Subhashis Basu, head of R&D, TSR Murali and group CFO Meghnad Mitra.
Krishijagran.com further added that before joining Mother dairy, Khanna was the CEO of SBC beverages Ghana, a maker of PepsiCo products. The reason for Khanna’s exit has been assumed to be associated with Mother Dairy’s investment of 190 crore in troubled infrastructure company IL & FS going bad.
